Find the Perfect Birthday Presents

Do you know what to give your loved ones of on their birthday? Do you have any clue as to what they want to get? Well, I am one of those people that do not know how to pick a gift.

I used to think that giving expensive gifts are the best but, I have proven that to be a fallacy.

For birthday presents, I bought my twin brothers PLAY DOH sets. During my time, that was the fad but apparently not at their time. When they opened their gifts, I saw disappointed faces. One of them mumbled: speed stacks. I was like, what was that?!

I just panic and go blank when buying gifts for my family and friends because I never hit it right. So, to conquer that problem, I promised myself to learn the way on how to buy the perfect gifts.

I have read a lot of articles and then, these fool-proof ideas hit me. I have applied the tips and to my surprise, I was deeply appreciated!

So to help you choose the perfect birthday presents for your loved ones, here are the tips I learned:

1. This is the time when wants are better than needs. The celebrant is more idealistic at this time rather than realistic. He or she will expect that the gift is something extra ordinary or extravagant since it is his or her special day. So, to add to the excitement, buy him or her something to add to his or her collection. For example, if she is collecting a specific brand of flip flops and she has like over 20 of it, another pair will make her feel better!

2. Never assume. You might think that you know your loved one enough to recognize what he or she wants. Just to be sure, at least a month before the birthday, ask him or her questions that will give you a good hint of the possible birthday presents you can buy. In that way, finding gifts for your love one is no sweat. You can plainly say: do you like this? He or she will give you an opinion and you will know.

3. If you really do not have enough money and you know that what she or he wants is expensive, then, just put it behind you. If you don’t have the means, do not force yourself to buy it. But do not lose hope. If you are creative and resourceful, you can give out gifts made from the heart.

4. My niece loves raisin cookies. So on her birthday, I baked a 12 inch diameter raisin cookie and wrapped it in Japanese paper in red, her favorite color. She was so happy and it did not even cost me $5!

Birthday presents personally made are always exceptional. This is especially true since wise quotes about love and giving states:

“If instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as the angels give.” ~George MacDonald

I hope these tips will be able to help you win your loved ones happiness on their birthdays. If you make them happy, you are elated as well. Have a fun filled gift shopping experience!
