This four-day touring ride from July 29th to Aug 1st will take place from Cleveland to Cincinnati. This riding program is to benefit the Society’s Hope Lodges and other critical cancer programs. Four bicyclists from Warren County will join with 350 plus participants to take part in this program.

The Warren County cyclists will ride following the routes of Morrow and Loveland on the Little Miami Trail thereby passing the home territory on Aug 1. The participants are of diverse skill sets. Michael Zecchino and Lindsay Markwart from Mason, and Donna Burnett and Carole Blackschleger from Morrow form the four member Hope Riders from Warren County.

These participants will be riding either the complete route or only a part of it. In spite of Michael Zecchino making his fourth Hope Ride, when he reaches Cincinnati, he will be crossing more than 1,300 miles since 2007 for American Cancer Society.

Team Charlene is formed in the memory of the late Charlene Bush. Carole Blackschleger and Donna Burnett ride for Team Charlene. In some way or other every single Hope Rider has been touched by cancer.

Riders can take part in one, two or four days of the route and they will be given tips to achieve the individual fund-raising targets. More experienced cyclists will be given some challenges in the Hope Rider route. The riders are provided with good facilities throughout the route like meals, stops for every 18-20 miles, full support from safety crew and traveling mechanics.

The Day 3 ride ends on July 31st at Wittenberg University in Springfield. The riders will pass through Xenia, Morrow and Loveland and reaches Cincinnati finally on Day 4 (i.e., on August 1).
